Responsibilities
- Provide efficient secretarial and administrative support to lawyers in the corporate or litigation practice, including the following:
- Manage calendar schedules, meetings/appointments/telephone and conference calls, managing files/documents and preparation of meeting materials
- Make overseas travel and hotel arrangement
- Updating records, typing/amending of legal documents, replying to correspondence/mails and keying in daily time sheets
- Maintain lawyers’ client contact list
- File management and documentation (prepare legal documents and court bundles for litigation)
- Dictation transcription and generation of work product such as correspondence, agreements and memoranda
- Any other duties as required
Requirements
· Minimum an ‘O’ level or ‘A’ level or Diploma in Business Admin or LCCI Private Secretarial Certificate
· Minimum 1 to 3 years of secretarial working experience
· Prior working experience in litigation support in a law firm will be an added advantage but not vital
· Good command of written and spoken English
· Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
· Accurate and meticulous
· Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and IT skills
· Japanese language skills not required
